One World Symphony

June was a busy month for me and I forgot to update my blog for several weeks! Oh no!

After finishing up the show with Princeton, I jumped right into a bunch of rehearsals with the One World Symphony, located in Brooklyn. We put together a production of Samuel Barber's Vanessa and performed twice last weekend - once in Brooklyn and once in Manhattan. I was also busy juggling the transition between spring and summer semester. I have these grand plans of only teaching in Brooklyn and Manhattan someday...

I had planned on taking a two-week break from concerts as of this morning, but now it looks like I'll be working on a collaboration with artist Audra Wolowiec for July 11, so stay tuned!

Also, I may work for a photographer sometime in late July...but not as a musician...after I take a vacation, of course. We'll see what happens!

Lincoln Center on June 5

On June 5 I'll be playing a tune or two with the LA-based band, Princeton (see above photo), who will be in town to play at the Virginia Woolf Conference. My friend Lynn Tsai is also going to be rocking out on flute that night.

We're going on at 8pm in the Pope Auditorium - more details to follow later!
